Your privacy and payment safety
Your payment is handled by your provider, not by us
When you pay, you approve the charge on your own phone through your Mobile Money provider. Your card number, CVV and Mobile Money PIN never reach this site and are never stored here. We only ever learn that a payment succeeded, failed, or is still pending — never your payment credentials.
The whole site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your device and us is encrypted.
Your booking link is like a key
Your booking is reached through a private, unguessable link we email you — there is no account and no password. Treat the link like a key:
- Anyone who has it can view and manage that one booking, so keep it to yourself.
- It can't be guessed, and it isn't tied to a web address anyone can walk through.
- If you ever think a link has been seen by someone else, ask the photographer to resend it — issuing a new link immediately stops the old one working.
What we collect, and why
To arrange your shoot we collect only:
- your name, email and phone number, so we can confirm and reach you;
- the shoot location, party size and any special requests you give;
- the fact that you consented at booking, and when.
That's it. We don't build a profile, and we don't sell or share your details.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your booking details are kept while they're needed to run and account for your shoot. Rwanda's data-protection law (Law N° 058/2021) gives you the right to have your personal data deleted.
To request deletion, email the photographer. Your personal details are then removed from the booking records. One thing is deliberately kept even then: the record that consent was given, because the law requires that consent remain demonstrable — but it no longer carries your contact details.
Developers: how tokens, hashing and data handling are implemented is in the Auth and security developer page.
